Rachael and Chris contacted us to photograph their wedding next January at the Marco Island Yacht Club. As part of their wedding package, Frank and I were able to also shoot their engagement session at Koreshan State Park in Fort Myers, Florida. This is one of my favorite spots to photograph couples, especially engagement photos, because of its beautiful landscapes and romantic rustic vibes it has to offer. The aesthetics are absolutely beautiful. I also find that couples absolutely love this place for photographs, too! I mean, how can you not?
Rachel and Chris were just as excited as we were. We’d been communicating for a while about their engagement and wedding photos so the excitement was there for us and them! Love was definitely in the air, and photographing their romantic moments was so easy because they are just so in love with one another.
We took photos in front of the houses that make part of the historic settlement, and we also took photos at the rustic bridge pictured within the first photo below. We took photos at the small dock by a stream of water and finished our engagement session with photos on the more open grounds to try and catch the sunset in the background.
This has been one of my favorite shoots so far, and we can’t wait to document their wedding next year!
