When we think of a modern Fort Myers wedding, we can’t help but think back to Chris and Ariana’s beautiful wedding day. They were married at The Club at Gateway in Fort Myers, Florida surrounded by their closest family and friends. The venue was stunning with beautiful golf greens, a lake, and a fountain as backdrop to the ceremony site. In addition, this is a great venue for couples who want the comfort of getting ready at their venue, great views, and amazing food and service!

Getting Ready:

When we arrived at the country club, we immediately met with both Chris and Ariana to say hello. The venue offers getting ready spaces for both brides and grooms within close proximity to one another, which was very helpful to us when capturing their detail photos and getting ready footage.

We started by getting photos of the details they so carefully chose for their big day (as seen below). The entrance to the country club had high ceilings made of wood and a beautiful chandelier which was perfect to hang Ariana’s dress.

After detail shots, we moved on to capturing getting ready photos of both the bride and the groom. Both groups were so much fun to photograph. It was a huge plus that they were up for absolutely anything! Ariana and her brides maids wore matching champagne colored pajama sets, while Chris and his groomsmen wore matching black suits.

Ceremony:

Chris and Ariana’s Fort Myers wedding was traditional. They both saw each other for the first time while walking down the aisle, and it was absolutely magical to witness. Chris’ face immediately lit up as he saw his bride-to-be walk down the aisle. Their ceremony was filled with love, joy, and genuine emotion from all the guests. A particular moment that stood out to us was the emotion we captured from Ariana’s mother. It was such a touching moment to witness.

Reception:

The reception was just as memorable as their ceremony. Heartfelt speeches were given by the bride and groom’s parents, close relatives, and friends. After dinner, everyone continued the evening dancing the night away to fun and popular music!
